Discounts for Homeschoolers

We know that many stores offer discounts for teachers, but what homeschoolers? Let's be honest, it can get very pricey! So many people have asked me to post about what discounts are available to homeschoolers from various retailers. I am a huge fan of Michaels and Joann's 15% discount - even on clearance prices! Girls, we can do some serious damage in these stores, so these are an absolute must! How do you qualify? Many will simply ask for some sort of homeschool ID, or even a simple copy of a curriculum receipt. I made my own ID card with  PowerPoint and a laminator, but you can create a free one at the Homeschool Buyers Co-Op. Below is a list of some of the most common discounts. I copied most of this from the Frugal Girls website.  There is also a more extensive list at Homeschooling on a Shoestring as well.

Staples
Staples has a 10% back reward program, but the best part: those Back-To-School sales. While the average person is allowed to purchase very limited quantities, those who are classified as teachers are generally allowed up to 25 of those bargain items!
